Has anyone else been paying attention to the new accounts that have been being registered here lately?

Most of them have links to porn sites under the homepage.

Gah. Disgusting. Spamming by not-spamming.

Creative but but not efficent. Only exposure is by the admin's deleting their accounts, the rest rarely sees their profiles.

Say isn't their a plugin or script that dels spam accounts on auto?

I've gotten into the habit of checking each new member to see if it's not spam/porn/etc. It's a shame accounts have to be screened.

You know, I'm not sure. I'll have to look into that.

And I've noticed new members with ridiculous crude names too, but I've guess they've all been deleted. How the heck do they FIND this place? Do they look for Disney stuff whilst advertising porn? Laughing

I think I should not be affiliated with Disney anymore, since it's an annoying kid stuff which tones down almost all the characters. Face it, I'm way too adult for Disney, and they're not even showing the true side of Jasmine.

Well, linking to porn does violate the forum rules; I assume they're just advertising bots trying to increase their ranking in google by creating links to themselves in forum profiles all over the internet. Rolling Eyes

AG and I have been deleting them when we see them.
