Which version of AWNW do you like better? The one with Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle, or the one with Nick and Jessica? I'm a sucker for R&B,so the old version is my favorite. Plus,that version had better singers.And I don't like when Disney tries to make all their classic songs into pop songs. Nick and Jessica are talented and did a good job,but it's nothing compared to the original.

I like the older version better. A part of my later childhood, ya know.
A lot of people don't like the Nick & Jessica version for some reason. I've heard from two completely different sources that she looks like she's constipated while she sings.

Well, the Al/Jas one is the best, but that one wasn't an option.
I actually heard the first one before the Al/Jas version. But now I like the Al/Jas one best.

I heard the AlJas one first,and the old version soon after. I guess if I add the AlJas one as an option,that's my favorite.But for most people that's stating the obvious.  The old one always had a special place in my heart,though. It was the song my aunt and uncle danced to at their wedding, and the played it in the background when they showed photos of them together. Sort of to represent the "whole new world" of being married. I so want to do that at my wedding someday.  |

The first one, definitely. Though my all-time favorite is still Brad Kane/Lea Salonga.

Brad and Lea Salonga are waaaay much better than any other versions. ( They also did a song together on Lea's Columbia Record Album, " We Could be in Love" ) Nick and Jessica. It makes me so sad  everytime I see their music video on the Aladdin DVD. They could of made it. It's like they jinx Al and Jas. But that's me. |

| New one, on account of how much I liked Nick. The old one's way too slow for my taste and the new one at least has more 'motion' to it even if it's still slow. I don't like either Regina or Jessica on the girl part though; the old one is SO low and the register Regina sings in is way too low for my tastes on that song, but Jessica just sounds terrible. Ah well. |
