It's driving me nuts that there is probably no way to know how to REALLY spell Mechanikles' name. I've seen so many variations that I've lost count. I've also seen the same people use one spelling in one thread, and then another somewhere else. So, I put this up to know what is the most popular spelling.

Also, is there a reason you favour some spelling over another?

I prefer Mechanikles. It just sounds good to me. I think I saw Mekanikles in some Aladdin-related game on Disney's site, but I don't feel like changing the spelling at this point -- unless it really becomes official.

It may vary in different countries. Over here we pronounce it "Me-ka-nik-les", so it took a while before I got used to the English "Mecha-nik-lees".

It depends on my mood or if someone spelled it a certain way before me, but I go with Mechanicles or Mechanikles. I kinda prefer the one with the 'k' just cause it gives it some more distinction from mechanical in my head

That brings up the question of how we're going to spell his name on the site. Shall we flip a coin? Laughing

I used to spell it Mechanicles, but I saw it spelled Mechanikles in a Disney-approved episode guide, so now I spell it that way. Smile
