Okay, you said you haven't seen The Lion King? Definitely get it. It has a lot of hype as one of the best Disney movies ever, but guess what? Most of it is deserved. It's a good story with awesome music and beautiful animation.
Of course, DVDs of The Lion King ARE damn-near impossible to track down, since it came out a few years ago and then went back into the vault. But there are probably some on eBay. |

I second everything everyone has said! But it is true that you have to rent these first in case you don't like them:
Atlantis: The Lost Empire (Personally I love it)
Alice in Wonderland (I love it but that's a bias since I love the books )
Treasure Planet (Not great but it's still good)
The Great Mouse Detective (I vaguely remember loving this movie as a kid but I need a second go since I barely remember anything cept the animation)
Others that are great?
Cinderella (This one is a classic and for those who are dreamers it might as well be the mascot movie)
Mulan (action! adventure! comedy! what's not to like?)
Oliver and Company (if ya like cats and dogs + Billy Joel's music = awesome )
The Nightmare Before Christmas (it's stop motion animation though so I'm not sure if this is included but it's awesome!)
Sleeping Beauty (it's a gorgeous film and it has Maleficent! )
The Aristocats (I don't know about you but I'm a cat lover. Also, big fan of Wolfgang Reitherman) |
