According to imdb and comingsoon.net, there is a sequel to "Enchanted" in the making.
As is usually the norm for sequels, I'm not sure if I like the idea or not. I prefer original stories and characters and to not run the risk of blemishing something that is great as it is.
But I loved the original (just watched it tonight actually), so I will be pleased if the sequel lives up to it.

They apparently want to have it out in the next year or so with a new director, new writer, and no cast committed yet. It just screams bad idea to me in every way.
At the same time, I plan to see this. If it's good, fantastic. If it's bad, I will snark the heck out of it.
