Yeah, you're right but I thought people would get over all that by now.

What, you mean slavery? No, it's still an issue that has a (very understandable) lingering psychological effect on the black community even to this day.

But yeah, I like the trailer.

I really thought because Disney wanted to bring the culture of Mardi Gras. Jazz music

Ooo, I really hope they do that! All the bright colors and awesome jazz music would make for a wonderful atmosphere.

BTW, at this point, I'm pretty convinced that this movie is supposed to be set in an alternate America. I do wish they had gotten someone other then Randy Newman to handle the music. No disrespect to the man, he seems like a cool dude whose got his head on straight, but I think he's been used too much for Disney animated features. Think how slick it would've been if they had gotten some southern/or jazz artists like Harry Connick Jr. or Sonny Rollins to do music.

The film is based in New Orleans Mardi Gras, when the whole concept started the Studios were holding auditions for Jazz Musicians and actors for the characters. take a closer look at the trailer, I've posted. The buildings, the southern accent, and the words the singer is singing. IDK, what you mean by alternate America.

Here, this link will tell you more.

That's SO awesome! Yup, I'm so glad they're going back to the old animation! I always loved it, and the music. It really is a pity that the animators were losing their jobs, I get an image of, like the Disney studios and all that being empty, like abadoned.SadI can't wait to see this one, even if it is set in New Orleans. Oooh, you think it might be, like in the Old South? That would be great!

I totally forgot the name of the band that plays at DisneyLand's New Orleans Square. I think its Side Street Strutters. AMAZING especially their christmas album. One of their songs makes me want to say, " IT'S SATURDAY NIGHT!"

I love the new trailer. Its awesome. So people complain about the African American princess and NOW they complain about interacial relationships between the heroine and the white prince. I've seen the previews and heard the prince. Umm he sounds french or latin to me. It was so hilarious, of the riduclous stuff they said. " All the princesses are white since snow white."
Uh? Have they forgotten Jasmine, Esmeralda, Mulan, Pocohontas etc etc.

Interracial? What are they talking about!? John Smith and Pocahontas? Phoebus and Esmeralda, Eric and Ariel ( Idk, mermaid and human)

These people (the complainers) really need to do their research BEFORE making statements. You can't make everyone happy.

I LOVE THE PREVIEW AND SO CAN'T WAIT FOR THE MOVIE.

It would seem to me that promoting interracial relationships is a GOOD thing and the OPPOSITE of racist... But hey whatever.
