I was looking through the image gallery here, and my brother noticed the preview picture of the Genie in a tutu. He points to it.

Angel: Hey! That's from that one book!
Me: ?!?!!?
Angel: Yeah, I've seen it.
Me: WHERE?!
Angel: In my library at school...
Me: WTF?! Why haven't you checked it out?!
Angel: -completely ignoring me- Ha, for V... it says Video... and it shows him messing around with a video camera.
Me: ANGEL! Bring it to me tomorrow!
Angel: We don't go to the library tomorrow.
Me: Who cares?! Go in the Morning.
Angel: We can't.
Me: Yes, you can! I did so in Elementary.
Angel: B-but.
Me: [to our mom, who's eating in the kitchen and watching music videos] MOOOM!
Mom: What?
Me: There's a Genie book in Angel's library and he won't check it out for me!
Mom: Maybe he didn't know you want it.
Me: ...
Mom: Alright, fine. Angel, you're an idiot. Everyone knows your sister's a damn Genie lunatic. Bring it.
Angel: But!
Mom: No buts! Bring it, or you can't watch Tom and Jerry anymore.
Angel: I don't lik Tom and Jerry.
Sabrina: [Our younger sister. She's five, we're all five years apart.] I like Tom and Jerry! You bring it to her!
Angel: FINE! I WILL! [murmurs a la Homer Simpson] Lousy no good women ganging up on me...
Me: I can't wait! I'm-a gonna scan all them pretty pages 8D
Dad: [random] Who locked the bathroom?! I GOTTA GO! [/random]

Congrats on getting that Genie book. A similar scenario happened to me.

Every year, we have a Book Fair at my school, and today i went with my class. Mostly they didn't have Disney books (and believe me, I looked! Laughing

). And then when I'm on the line to pay for my books my best friend has this Disney Princess book in her hands. (the same way, ur a Genie fanatic, is the way I am with Jas. Very Happy

) So I'm all like,"Where'd you get it? How much did it cost?", and I'm getting all giddy like a little kid at Disneyworld. I only needed ONE MORE DOLLAR to buy it! I was literally grabbing my classmates and going ,"GIVE ME A DOLLAR NOOOOW!!!" Eventually one of my other friends did give it to me and I got the book. Very Happy

And just think--I did all this for a book that had TWO pages with Jasmine in them and was written for FIVE YEAR OLDS. Seriously,I need professional help. Laughing

Yeah, there was a book fair at my school last year, and I was looking desperately for any Disney-Themed-In-Hopes-Of-Finding-Aladdin books. And there was only one... it was a cookbook.

I was flippin' through the pages until I found the Genie's recipe. I don't remember what it was, but I do remember it was a weird combination of ingredients, and had a LOT of sugar. Typical, what with his gumdrop pizza and all.

Aladdin had some bread recipe. Laughing
