Okay, so we've had a thread discussing all the times Al was a bad boyfriend. What about his hot boyfriend moments? You know, the ones where you watch an episode/movie and think, "Dang, I want a boyfriend like that!"

Here are some of the ones I came up with:

*The way he helps Jasmine out when he first meets her in the marketplace.
*The whole battle sequence with Jafar in the first movie.
*This may seem completely weird, but the part towards the end when he's telling Jasmine that he can't keep pretending to be something he's not, while touching her chin, and she holds his hand against her cheek *swoon*
*I don't remember the title, but it was the one with the "curse of clumsiness" when he pulls a Legolas and skates on that iceberg to save Jasmine from the volcano thing.
*The kiss at the end of KoT (naturally).

I'll probably think of more later, but what have the rest of you got?

. Sometimes it's a Protective hold, sometimes it's a Playful hold and other timed it's a Just Because You're You hold. Just that close physical contact, and skin touching and body heat and...let me shut up Laughing

I think it's kinda hot when he snaps or is really pissed when someone messes with Jasmine, too, like in Garden of Evil. He goes on a slight rampage until he gets her back and nothing is spared. His dark side is hot Laughing

Anyway, getting back to the topic, Aladdin's had a lot of hot bf moments, but one of my favorites would have to be in the episode "The Spice is Right" ,the one where Al gives Jas a necklace that unleshes Ayam Agoul. When he gives her the necklace, Jasmine asks him, "Did you find what you were looking for?" Because he had been treasure hunting or something. And then he goes," I found what I was looking for long before I departed Agrabah--it was the day I met you". Corny yes, but VERY sweet, and deep down, we all wish our boyfrieds would say something like that to us. Very Happy

It just shows that awesome progression of their relationship. She still finds it really sweet, but now it's more of a "Ok, that's a good one, but cut the bull--what do you want?" Laughing

True,true. I love scenes like that because they show Jasmine's kick-ass side and at the same time count as a memorable AlJas moment. It just rocks. Very Happy

Just thought of another hot bf moment. In Eye of the Beholder,when I Aladdin turns into a snake just so he can be with Jasmine. That was so romantic--freaky,but romantic. Laughing

~The entire marketplace/hovel scene. He comes to her rescue and whatnot and isn't that chivalrous, but the easy conversation between the two of them in the hovel is just magic to me. They seem a little nervous, but at the same time, they seem like they've known each other a long time and can start opening up to each other. Things in real life don't usually happen so fast; it takes longer to start really coming out of your shell, usually. But even so...he's easy to talk to, he listens, and he understands. Little things like that mean so much...boyfriend does have the word 'friend' in it after all.

~Let's face it, we can't all be whisked off and flown around the world on a magic carpet...but by taking Jasmine for that ride, he showed that he had been paying attention and he did understand her. He didn't score points for the cool means of transportation, IMO, though I'm sure that didn't hurt. He did something special for her that was meaningful; he took her to see the world. That's the sort of gift that really is from the heart, and I think since it meant so much to her, it meant more to him, too. (I love watching that whole scene...Jasmine's looking all around taking everything in and looking like a little kid at Disneyland, and he's just happy to watch her react.) He does something that's special for the two of them and they enjoy it together.

~Choosing to stay with Jasmine as a snake-person (would he still be a naga or does that imply female?). That's not the sort of scenario you'd encounter in real life, but I still am so amazed by that sort of devotion, especially because she really tried to push him away.

~"I WON'T WALK OUT ON JASMINE!" -KoT I don't think I need to say much more.

~...come on, we've all seen the end of King of Thieves. HOT.

*agrees with AG about the way he holds her* All of their physical interaction is just so...well, real. Plus Aladdin has really nice arms...I know I'd love to have them around me anytime...

some hot moments:

1. after they kiss in the first movie, he waits for her to leave and then says "yes!" like a giddy school boy.

2. in the third movie when he goes back to the palace even though he could've gotten arrested.

3. anytime his hair falls in his face. gotta love the hair Cool

Those moments are so many, they probably wouldn't fit.lolBut I just love that scene where the Sultan is all saying how they'll be wed at once, and everything, and they're right there, holding each other, and just before he sort of pushes Jasmine into Al's arms. I am just wanting to be Jasmine right there.
