Even though she's annoying and WAY obsessive,I feel bad for Sadira. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Jasmine,but I understand Sadira's position,too. I kind of understand the whole being-obsessed-Aladdin thing. Laughing

So I can totally relate.

Me, too. Yeah, I feel sorry for her, but in reality, it's because I'm actually feeling sorry for me. I do like Jasmine but...I LOVE Aladdin even more.

I'm not obsessed with Aladdin, I'm obsessed with the Genie. But I know Eden will totally kick your ass worse than Jasmine would, so I tend to keep it low profile (Lolz, I've failed at that so many times...)

Yeah, of course I feel sorry for her. Poor thing's misunderstood. She doesn't mean any bad...

People often forget:

1) Sadira isn't a villain, she just wanted Aladdin to like her. (Ok, I know that hasn't been said yet, but I've seen her classified as a villain, and it irritates me.)

2) She stopped chasing after Aladdin.

I think what Sadira wanted was friends. Aladdin was probably the first guy who was ever nice to her, so of course she became attracted. I wish they'd shown more episodes with her not pursuing Aladdin, but they just showed that one.

Without the attraction to Aladdin thing, I think Sadira would be into shopping and for some reason, I see her as boy crazy. Not sure why. And whether or not she continues to use the sand magic is up to fanfic writers.

And BTW, I challenge all of you to get out KOT and look for her at the wedding. She was there.

As far as feeling sorry for her? I don't tend to 'feel sorry' for a lot of people. Can I understand and sympathize with her? Yes. Like I said, she lived her life alone, and finally this guy, and a hot one at that, is nice to her, but he's taken. Probably after she met Aladdin and knew she couldn't have him, she felt even more alone.

The more I watch Sadira, that's the more I see I can relate to her. She was in a very vulnerable position because she did want friends, acceptance, etc., and when someone was nice to her, she went a bit obsessive. I don't classify her as a villain simply because I see nothing she did as being "villainous". Yeah, she tried to get rid of Jasmine a few times, but she didn't want her dead...just out of the picture with no return Laughing

. She came to her senses eventually, looked at the situation and said "Whoa...wtf? Chill out" and that she did.

She may be obsessed but she's not willing to actually hurt anyone. She kind of strikes me as younger and less mature than Al and Jas, and from that POV she grew up a lot during the series.

I'm always surprised to see Sadira hate; it's a relatively recent phenomenon. And it's usually from the same people who are like "OMGALADDINIZMINE!!!1" which makes it that much more ironic. Because we're all Sadiras in a way. Laughing
