Eeehhh

They've certainly all had a part in modeling the characters we have now and that we've spent many hours studying, but we tend to know if something is or isn't out of line.

Definitlely the fans. Most of us watch the movies and TV series on a daily basis. We've grown up with these characters,so I think we know them best. Very Happy

Well, back when the first movie was put out, I would have said the people who created the characters. But now, I think us fans know more. I mean, look what they did with LM2 ten years after the first movie. LM fans could have made a better movie, because they know more.

Some Little Mermaid fans could have made a better movie. Other Little Mermaid fans could have watched the original movie a million times and still have made a sequel that was a total piece of crap.

A lot of it depends on your ability to 'absorb' other characters. Some people are very good at this; others couldn't do it to save their lives. Can you watch a movie, once, twice, a few times, and have the ability to become a character, at least in mentality? If Yes, then you could probably sequel pretty well. If No, forget it. All you'll do is write another character in this character's body or a mechanical wind-up toy who looks like the character in question.

Yeah, but in the case of TLM and even us, some people include the series as canon so then you'd have to take that in account on if you consider any of that a part of the actual character. I know some LM people who do and some who don't. I know some who only believe there is one movie and that's it Laughing

I have this effin' crazy theory about cartoons.

Sometime ago cartoons and the humans lived together in the same world. (Roger Rabbit, Bonkers, see what you do to me!) But then... the humans began getting all snobby about being with the cartoons, ya know? They were being specie-ists. Like how most high-class people act to them lower class rats... like me. Cartoons got all mad and decided to leave this world and create their own, erasing peoples minds about ever living with them... and... umm... people that create stories and cartoons and such, are actually remembering the cartoons before they left.
