This will probably be one of the most random posts you'll see for a while Laughing

Ok, so I'm sitting here doing this paper on Benjamin Franklin for History and I am talking about the beginning of his life when he started off working for his brother as an apprentice to his newspaper. Well, his brother's name is "James" and it has NEVER failed that I type out "Jasmine" first Laughing. I hit the backspace button and correct it, but it keeps happening. It makes for a very interesting story leaving her name in there, though. Laughing

I do the same thing with words beginning with "al". "Aladdin" just automatically comes out, or at least the first part of it. Tell me I am not the only one who has this problem? Laughing

Yep, you're the only one. Laughing Comparing Jasmine to Franklin's abusive brother? Wait, that one was James right? Laughing

You're a horrible fan for even comparing the two! Jasmine isn't that abusive!

Laughing I wasn't comparing the two! I'm just having problems not typing "Jasmine" instead of "James"! (I did it again there, too Laughing)

They almost have all the same letters!

I used to do stuff like that a lot when I was in highschool, since I retyped a lot of printed fanfics to my own computer during that time. Yes, I'm a freak, shut up. Laughing

Yeah, the school had Windows and I had a Mac. Laughing But I saved a lot of fics that would have been lost when sites went down, so it's all good.

Shiera, it's not just you...if I'm typing about jazz music, it almost always goes "J-backspace-j-a-s-backspace-z-z" And I sometimes will start to type Jasmine instead of James, too...not always, but enough to notice the trend. I don't always finish the word, but...oh come on, some people even abbreviate 'James' as 'Jas.'...come on!

I'm sure I've done similar, I just can't give an example right now.

I write Aladdin on a lot of school papers by accident... It's all... Aladdin......... Saldańa!

And when I was writing a report on Shakespeare's "Othello"... I kept on thinking that the Iago character was REALLY Iago and kept making references on Aladdin. My teacher gave me extra points for that.... Laughing
