The Al/Moze fandom is growing bigger by the day. What do you guys think of the pairing? I don't really hear many people talking about it on here. Personally,I prefer Al and Jas, but some Al/Moze fanfics are good, and make it believable. Still, Al and Jas went through 3 movies and a TV series just to get married. I can't imagine them going through all that, and then having Aladdin suddenly turn gay.  |

I'm not really a fan of slash, but looking at some of the screenshots in the episode, it kind of makes you question Al and Moz's sexuality.

I think some people just have dirty minds. They want to make the Aladdin characters into something they're not. Anyone notice how Jasmine is almost always made into a jerk just to get Al and Moze together?  |

How can it be considered bad? It's just what the fans prefer. There's nothing wrong with fans prefering something other than canon. Yes you can have your own personal opinion on these things I know I do but the statements you made sound like you were speaking for everyone and not just yourself.
Personally I'm not a big fan of the whole Moz/Al slash but I never had a big problem with it either. To each his own

It's bad because slash takes canon characters that we know and love and completely changes their personalites. It's messsed up! |

Keep in mind these are the fans minds when they write this stuff. People will and do take characters waaay out of context to make it work for their stories. I don't think theres much to get upset over because the stuff isn't true and TPTB wouldn't make this happen in the aladdin fandom ever because its a kids show. Not to mention we haven't seen much from aladdin since KOT (aside from Hercules and the Arabian Night)

Yea,but for people who are really into fanfiction and take it seriously,it's insulting. It doesn't matter how long it's been since Disney came out with Aladdin stuff. For now,fanfiction is our tangible link to Aladdin and these slash writers are destroying it. |

I said before, its not real. TPTB wouldn't make this stuff happen and if it bothers you so much then why look at it if its only going to cause you stress?

You see it, doesn't mean its saying "read me read me!!" . There are fanfiction writers who obviously have different tastes than you. It's fine of you don't like it, your entitled to your own opinion but it makes no sense to bash it because it's just making finding things harder for you. We all know that the slash pairing is never true so what is the point of making a big deal about it? We *know* what canon states and nothing will ever change it.
