Ooh, I 'm hoping for the reprise as well. Watching the video of it almost made me cry. Well, I thought it was sad! *Sneaks away*

Was this scene included on a past DVD release? I have the old DVD release somewhere (I got it in one of those free Disney DVD offers) but I've never opened it.

Yes! They did! I was just thinking that myself, actually. I remember seeing it a long time ago, but the details escape me. Something in my brain wants to say they had the rough animation done, but I don't remember if that's correct or not.

I remember. John Smith was tied up in the Tepee, and was just kinda waiting to die, then Pochahontas came in and apologized saying that if they'd never met, this wouldn't have happened.. and they broke into song ^^

I have the video of it saved onto my computer. The rough animation is done, except for some storyboards nearing the end. Really, really pretty. I dispise the version of the song that actually is on the soundtrack, so I would love to have the offical version of the song on a ST. *Dances because it's pretty... and because she's strange*

It's a great song, but I'm a little concerned: the reason it got cut was that it was impossible to storyboard. Have they figured out a way to do it since then? Confused

Ahem... sorry to slip into freaky fan girl typing there, but I love that song! So, so pretty. I'd love to have a Pocahontas soundtrack with it on there, as my soundtrack went MIA about a year ago. Boo.

Hmm, looks like Pocahontas is getting a new song:

Quote:
Jens: In your filmography it says "Pocahontas (New Release)". Does that mean that there will be a scene added to the movie? How was the scene?

Greg: There was a new scene added. It was a scene where Mel Gibson's character, John Smith, sang with Pocahontas.
