Honestly, I have never been to WDW. Crying or Very sad I have been to Disneyland and California Adventure though. I LOVE them both and I'm going back for sure cause last time my dad wouldn't let me see Aladdin on stage!Dx

However I have come to absolutely love Tokyo Disneyland as I've been going there for almost my entire childhood.

Conclusion: I simply can't choose!>.<

I'm gonna be the odd one out (and holy crap I haven't posted here in forever Laughing ) and say I absolutely love disneyland. I still have to visit wdw but I think overall disneyland is really great along with its neighboring park california adventure. Being a passholder and living only 30 minutes from its very close to me and going there is just a blast every time.

Disney World for me. Smile I work there, and I love it. Most of my time is spent there, and it just feels like a second home to me.

Different strokes for different folks. Disneyland and WDW's Magic Kingdom are laid out very similarly, and many of the rides exist on both coasts (though not always as direct REPLICAS of each other, which is a GOOD thing, IMO!), but beyond that, aside from the healthy helping of pixie dust and Mickey 'magic' in both resorts, you're comparing apples to oranges. The different locations have totally different 'feels' to them...Disneyland park is small and intimate, and the rest of Disneyland RESORT is still sort of coming into its own. It's a very friendly, welcoming place. WDW is big and grand in every way, which is a different type of magic in and of itself. I have more of a 'history' with WDW (including my college program, I've been there 16 times, compared with 4 times to Disneyland...I grew up on the East Coast; Florida's always been much closer and thus, cheaper to visit), but even though I've been to Disneyland comparatively very few times, it's made a HUGE impression on me. I have a love and appreciation for both destinations; asking me to pick a favorite is like I'd imagine it'd be like to have to choose a favorite child.

Well, the Aladdin musical is at Disney's California Adventure, not technically in Disneyland, so I think you'd have to pay extra to get into that park, too.

This is true. I know they really are separate parks. Maybe I should have added in general all the parks like stuck together in that area. Including Animal Kingdom, California Adventure, Epcot, etc, etc. Cause really in that case people would say "WDW" since it has more parks that brance off from it.

That's the only thing I'm super curious to see in person. I've seen it online, but I'd love to see it live. They pretty much have the same things at DL that WDW does with the exception of people saying they have better versions of the rides from WDW, but my two favorite parks are at WDW and I really don't care that much about rides, so it's whatever Laughing

I'd really just love to see the history at DL more than anything.

Yay, lotsa replies. Any reason as to why most of you like Disneyworld vs Disneyland or vice versa? I know a lot of people from dA actually do go to Disneyland, but then again Disney World is bigger. I really would like to go to Disney World more but I also would REALLY like to see the Aladdin musical at Disneyland. And for some reason I can't weigh out which I'd like to go to more if I get the chance!!! Thats the most prominent reason for posting this thread.

I live at Disney World; it's my other home Laughing. Never been to Disneyland, though.

I'm planning on hanging out at Disneyland this summer, so I might have to do this poll again

I'm incredibly biased about Walt Disney World. I've never been to another Disney theme park and I'm going back to work there again in 79 days. Yaaaay! Laughing
