| I wonder why scar was trying to impress his father. Could it be to do something with Mufasa. |

| In the book series that was released around the time of the movie, Scar (or as he was refered to in the book Taka) was gored by either wildebeast or rhino in an attempt to impress his father. |

| I was alway curious how Scar from the Lion King got his scar. I mean was he born with it or did he get his name from a fight of some sort. |
