I mean, he looks and acts cool, but when you really think about it, isn't he kind of a jerk? Off the top of my head, he... <br /> <br />- Tricked Oliver into helping him get hot dogs, then when Oliver followed him back to Fagin's place on the docks hoping to get a share, was willing to let his friends jump on the poor cat. <br /> <br />- Pitched a fit like a spoiled teenager when Oliver wanted to go back to live with Jenny. <br /> <br />I mean, he did get better throughout the film, and he clearly did grow pretty attached to Oliver, but to me he just strongly came across as being a pretty self-absorbed, manipulative douche for a good half of the movie.
