Slightly old thread, but here are my favorite Disney movies other than Aladdin. I'm leaving Aladdin out completely.
5. The Lion King. Would be higher if I'd seen it recently.
4. The Little Mermaid.
3. Hercules.
2. Mulan.
1. Tied: The Emperor's New Groove and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Entirely too few people appreciate the awesomeness that is HOND. Of course, Aladdin is higher on my list than all of these, but I'm in a very HOND frame of mind right now. *points to avatar*

3. Cinderella/Beauty & the Beast/ The Little Mermaid
4. The Emperor's New Groove/Tarzan/Oliver & Company/101 Dalmations

Oh,God,I LOVE the hair! It's just so stunning, and so natural, kind of like hair under water. That's like my favorite part of the movie--that and the incredible action scenes Amadou mentioned.

*holds up DVD* Huzzah!
Sometimes I put it in just to watch Eris' hair. It's sooooo nifty.

Do you wish that something like that would have happen in the 3d Aladdin (action, thrilling plot) (I'd say MORE action, MORE thrilling plot)? Or is it fine with you? Or should I put it in a new thread... I'm out of subject,
sorry

Ah, Sinbad. Mostly, I remember that one as being an eye candy film with a gratuitous Pokemon in the middle.
And I
own
that movie.

Jefferey Katzenberg, the head of Dreamworks was once the head of animation department for Disney back around the Disney Renaissance with TLM, Aladdin, etc.
Sinbad is probably my favorite Dreamworks movie and I think it was their worst one as far as money making goes

Jeffrey Katzenburg, the guy who directed Aladdin and a few of the other Disney movies made in the 90's, directed Sinbad,Prince of Egypt,Joseph King of Dreams, and I think Shrek,so yeah,Disney's magic is in some Dreamworks films, to some extent, anyway!

I was stunned for hours after having watched it. Such buttle scenes!
Hasn't Dreamwork somebody from Disney company in its crew? I think I've heard something like that. Or I mixed up...
May I hope that Disney has put his 5 cents in it, so that I can choose (vote for) it here!

Nope, that's from Dreamworks. Still an awsome movie, though.

They're hiding in the Court of Miracles
. Every other person seems to be a Clopin fangirl. Phoebus, Frollo and Quasi are tied for fans, but Clopin is waaaaay above them.

And I hang around The hunchback kids because I too like the movie (it's more like top 10). I think Clopin has the biggest fangirl base ever
The Clopin fans must be good at hiding. I've only found Frollo's online harem.

I think there should be a bigger fandom for HoND. It's such a great movie. Most people I know refuse to even see it because they're convinced that Disney raped the novel.
Normally, I'm a book purist, but after reading the novel, I think I prefer the happier ending. Quasimodo didn't end up with Esmeralda, but at least she was his friend. In the book, she really isn't that nice to him (aside from when she gives him water when he's being ridiculed by the mob) because she can't get past his appearance. Not to mention that Phoebus is a jerk.
Actually, when I was a kid, I wasn't that scared of what Quasimodo looked like. He just looked...different. Besides, what he lacked in looks, he made up for with his heart. Not to mention Tom Hulce's wonderful singing voice.
Well, I never read the book, but I just don't like in the end that Esmeralda chose Phoebus, that seemed more like...they were giving the wrong message, or something.
