It takes place "after", but the age thing messes it up :lol:. Although you can just swing it and say he went to school late and he's the "future emperor" in terms of when he finishes school when he can rule completely. Like before he was just an emperor in training :lol:

But what happens is while Kuzco is still the emperor, he is just in spirit because he can't rule, live in the palace, or touch a thing of the royal treasure until he passes all his classes in school. Yzma, the school principal who no one seems to recognize, is trying to stop this of course, so she doesn't have her job back.  
Kronk is her assistant while he is disguised as a student, but his motives are shifty because I'm sitting here going "Ok, I thought we had all that resolved" :lol:. And Kuzco stays with Pacha and his family while all this takes place.
Oh, and he thinks this new character, Malina, is a "hottie hot hot hottie" :lol:[/quote]
