When I was younger, I use to think Jasmine was dreaming of when Aladdin first grabbed her hand and that's why we see his arm, but when he pulls her onto the carpet, she snaps back out of it. I just liked finding excuses  His ventriloquist act during the hovel scene bugs me, too. On the line "But its got a great view" and he's pulling back the curtain, he is still smiling as you hear the line. He doesn't move his mouth once
It looks like Jonathan Scott's version; you can actually read and understand it

I can do better than that. I can give you a link to the most detailed version of the story of Aladdin I've ever found.

Read and enjoy.

There were two genies, a genie of the lamp and a genie of the ring.

I wouldn't change anything.
I just wonder how'd the movie would be if they had left the "Genie of the Ring" like in the original story.

You can just blame the palace always getting destroyed in the series for any mess ups there

I dunno, but the palacial inconsistancies DRIVE ME NUTS!

I was always under the impression that she dropped it on the ground, or put it on his counter after she hid it behind his back. That's just what I tell myself, cause it does bother me quite a bit.
That freaks my brother out. He sees Aladdin suddenly in his street rat outfit, then he asks me, hey, wasn't he wearing his sultan thing?

Amen.
At the end of the day...our sequels embody the "sub-par animation" but not the "retread of the same old story or an insanely pointless and dumb plot," and since I've only seen 1 D2V that I thought succeeded in being well animated AND strong, story-wise (Stitch Has a Glitch)...that means they don't happen much, so if you have to choose...story over spectacle any day!

No, you're not the only one. It looks TERRIBLE there. Her eyes are HUGE (more so than normal). They take up most of her head. But you know, I'd still rather take that than a crappy plot
1....neutral?
2. It changes from a more pointed back to a little more rounded box towards the back. It's constantly changing because it has a life of its own. Do not question the hair. It is its own free-will being
3. Her bands disappear and reappear from the beginning of the movie when she first walks in for the wedding, so you know they weren't going to stay in the same place to begin with

Consistancy was not their strongpoint in RoJ.

Genie's design throughout RoJ and the cartoon series... bleeeeearrrrgh.
What most bugs me about the animation in everything after the original is the characters go off model so frequently...it's generally better in KoT than RoJ/series (*hugs the people who updated Aladdin and Jasmine's designs to make them look older, but cringes at obvious style change on look of Jasmine from the time Iago shows up after Aladdin's 'trial' until the wedding* Where did that come from? Am I the only one who thinks her head looks box-y and her face too small for her head through that part of the movie?)
Some questions I would like to ask about sequels and series...
1. What color IS Sa'luk?
2. How long is Aladdin's hair?
3. Where are the bands that hold Jasmine's hair in her ponytail supposed to be? because they sure move up and down a lot within the same scene...
