Yeah... I kinda noticed. :mrgreen: I've had several dreams where I went to Japan. In the first dream I had, my sister was studying kanji. Then I went through a door and found myself in PGSM's Tsukino Usagi's closet or something like that. Really weird. Shortly after that, my sister started studying kana in real life. I was... weirded out. Since that time, I learn bits 'n pieces about Japanese here and there, study the culture, learn the phonetics... Can't say I'm much for their educational system, though. Brrrggghh. If you haven't heard of this site before, you'd probably enjoy it: http://www.japanesestreets.com/ I personally think a lot of their fashion taste (at least, out of what is shown on the site) is... umm... tasteless, but whatever. I still get some amusement from visiting that site now and then. :mrgreen:
I personally found this site particularly helpful:
http://www.learn-japanese.info/indexg.html
I also made these printable kana flashcards a bit ago. (Now I have to find a printer, heh.)

I'm totally horrible learning languages. X3;;
I know a smattering of Japanese, but I understand more than I can speak (or translate for that matter). Finding translators is like... impossible. X_X;

Yeah, I took a semester of Japanese in college and completely bombed it.
But, hey, at least I can read kana now.

Thanks for the site... but Firefox didn't seem to like it. It can't be found. *gonk*
That reminds me (for some strange reason); I've got some Aladdin pics that I've drawn anime-style... just gotta figure out where the hell I put them. *goes to look*

Personally, the Dutch version of

gives me the vapors.
The Japanese versions are
okay
, but in my opinion aren't especially interesting accoustically. Still, they're pretty good for educational purposes.
I'll have to listen to it sometime. ^^
I'm a big fan of all things Japanese; I love the country so much, and I want to go there so bad. When I heard the Japanese version of A Whole New World I just like... put it on repeat and listened to it for the whole day. ^^;;;

I'd appreciate it so much. I heard the Japanese music on the site and kinda went: O_O Whoa... [/Keanu]
Aladdin + Japanese language = happy Skyla.

Post subject: Japanese Aladdin
I'm looking for a place that sells new or used Japanese versions of the Aladdin DVDs. I've looked all over Ebay and the internet, and I haven't been able to find it.
(With my luck, it's probably right under my nose. ~.~)
