After you told the AVI where you want to send it, a little box didn't pop up with the option about compressing the files? It think the default says "no recompression". You want to click that and change it to a Divx option.

Two little boxes should pop up: one on the left and one on the right. The one on the right should have the Divx options, but you have to scroll down from the compression option.

That second box works once the first one is out of the way. It's the progress of the saving.

Hmm, you can't pick one of the DivX options as a format anywhere? That's strange. It's supposed to be there. You are on the DVD2AVI thing, right? Used the brackets to get the clip, went to save, chose a folder to place it in, a little box popped up and there was no Divx option?

You could try that, but I know there has to be something screwy with the program. Did you try the help option to see if your problem fits anything? Or if they will tell you how to do it? But I know that's how you do it, though.

The clips or the files that you turned into clips? Either way you just delete the folder that holds all of it.

I deleted all the clips that I had saved... and I downloaded DivXPlayer. Now, it should work... but I have no idea how to work it. I can still get to DVD2AVI, and the movie is still decrypted onto it. Now, I'm guessing that I have to go through the DivxPlayer to get the clips.

I am so very confused at the moment.
