XD I just realized that's the pose on the bookmark I had when I was like ten. I didn't think much of it at the time but now...yeah that is awkward _________________

"He probably smokes opium so he probably is psychotic." I didn't know he had a hookah in his lair! I need to watch more carefully next time XD _________________

Thanks I love Aladdin's cape so much XD.
That was interesting--I always thought it happened before the Crusades, but other than that I had no idea when I'd guess it was set. _________________

How did I miss this?! Nice find!! Awesome interview!
Really excited tonight as I just BOOKED TICKETS TO SEE ALADDIN ON THE BIG SCREEN!!!!! Haven't seen it at the cinema since I was a kid (no thanks to them cancelling the IMAX re-release...) so I'm SO EXCITED!!!
Sorry for all the caps, I got carried away! The British Film Institute (ie posh cinema that normally shows artsy films) in London is celebrating the release of Tangled earlier this year (yep, UK is months behind, but better than the year late Aladdin originally was) with "The Disney 50" and they've been showing ALL of the animated classics throughout the year. I'd actually planned to go and see all the Howard and Alan films, but with the wedding I just completely forgot and when I remembered earlier this week The Little Mermaid was on dates I couldn't do anymore and Beauty and the Beast was sold out! But got my seats for Aladdin, front row 3rd September! I'm down that way again early November for my dad's birthday so hopefully one of Alan's later films will be on that weekend! |

I'm still bitter about that IMAX thing. I was so excited. I planned a trip to the city and everything
I've been hearing there's been more screenings of Disney movies everywhere, though. I hope that trend continues! |

There's definitely a hookah in his lair (I think you can see it right before as Jasmine storms into the room), and I think I've read a couple of times that it's supposed to be set in the 13th century.
They're going to be showing The Lion King in Australia at the movies soon, it's in 3D which I can't watch too well but it'll be worth it anyway - husband and I are buying tickets as soon as they come out! |

Shhhh, don't tell the parents
The dates are so off in this fandom. Disney also has it set as 15th, too, which is way too late. |

I just got a letter back from the 5th Avenue! They said I'd done my homework XD and that they appreciated my comments and encouraged me to write to Disney Theatrical ( I'm still working out what to say to them ). I'll probably have that letter done soon too. _________________

Awww, that's so....awwww
I wish I had really high-quality versions of those photos like they released for the show pictures, but I don't know if they'd still have those. |

It's so adorable, they're holding hands....I'm two, don't judge me
The ones from Youtube? I wish they'd taken more close-ups of the costumes, there's so much awesome detail <3. Like the swooshy cape
One of these days I'm going to screencap those promo videos though. _________________
