I used to HAVE THAT SAME PROBLEM! God, I would feel so stupid. That was until I got a solo in 7th grade for my school concert for vocal ensemble.
Then one year I sang for a talent show, and the next day or so I got a call from a lady saying she would like me to take voice lessons because she thought I had the talent to go far.
I went for awhile, but I had to quit because my mom and I were having problems. It was an ego builder though!

Lol, I'm not that good... especially in a computer recording. ::shudders:: God, what's that going to do to my voice. I might come out sounding like Ursula.

I wouldn't have to face you guys, so it wouldn't be that hard. I'd also have to do it a time that my parents aren't here because they are the worst to sing in front of... because I have to face them every day of my life... yikes...

There's a thing called "Sound Recorder" that you should be able to find in the accesories menu on your computer.
And I understand completely - I come from a family of 6.
