I found it weird that Scott Weigner was born October 5th, 1973... and the movie came out on October 5th... that was a little weird. I wonder if it was planned. |

I don't know if you'd consider this a "coincidence" but I have this tape called Aladdin: The Making of A Whole New World that came out around 1992, early 1993. The host of the tape is John Rhys Davies, who will be Aladdin's father a few years after that.
Lots of John coincidences. |

This is another concidence! When I didn't know a thing about the Aladdin DVD I had bought the orginal VHS at a yard sale. It brought back tons of my child hood. Then I found this site and well I found out they had made a DVD of it so I was pretty amazed! Sometimes that happens you are watching something and then it starts to come out again. Right around when you are watching it! Weird! |

Coink-dinks? (BTW, I'm back.)
Well, probly the fact that I just saw Aladdin for the first time three months ago, got the DVD for my sister, and have watched it ten times more than her anyway.
Not quite a coincidence, but a little off. I'm willing to bet almost everyone else here saw it when it came out. _________________ You can never have too much Baklava.

I didn't, lol! I was like 4 years old when it came out, and I'm not sure if I watched it at that time. You know, the thing is, I do remember something like a big blue Genie on the movie theater's screen, but this could just be an imagination. Not even my parents know if I've really seen it.
So, I officially saw it in 2003 for the first time, when I rent it from the movies store. And only now, almost two years later, I finally own it. A long, sad story, I know _________________

Well, same here, so I can't criticize.
Oddly enough, I thought it was just another sort-of "pocahontasy" letdown movie until a while back, I was watching the "Teacher's Pet" DVD with a friend, and the first preview was for Aladdin on DVD.
My friend just squealed. I mean squealed.
What's so great about Aladdin? I asked.
She told me I had to see it, so I did, and instantly fell in love with it and saw the sequels, which were, meh, fair, but very fun to watch!
It quickly became my second favorite animated movie (Pixar aside, they pwn everything) of all time. Yes, second! My fave's still Beauty and the Beast. _________________ You can never have too much Baklava.

I'd mess with him every day to no end. "Ali! Oh, Ali! Will you come here? I have to ask you a question." |
