On last week's episode of High School Musical: Get in the Picture, the contestants sang "A Whole New World" in several different styles: rock, rap, folk, disco, and goth. A couple were okay, the rest were... pretty weird. (In the clip below, singing starts at about 2:15.)

I've heard by share of bad reditions but this is by far the worst of the worst. It's like these kids just took the lyrics and stuck it onto a music genre. I never cared for High School Musical but now I dislike it. Awful!
I'm a traditionalist when it comes to Disney songs. That was horrible! Such a beautiful song doesn't deserve that! Actually, the only cover of a Disney song I liked was "Someday" by Boyz to Men...I think.
To think I thought Ashley Tisdale's rendition of "Kiss the Girl" was the worst. _________________
