It's a big place with an alternate universe parallel. There are rooms that the main characters never even knew that it existed. In the Adventure Reference Series, there's that high tower where that soceress lives and it's cursed for whomever steps into her cell. In the comic book, there that room underground where the Sultan spends his time as a child to humble himself by living the simple life. There's even an underground city under Agrabah. |

Hey, it's a big palace. Big palaces call for big gardens. Big gardens call for many fountains! Many fountains calls for repetitive architects! Repetetive architects means repetition in design! Repetition in design means many things of one kind!
**slaps self**
Okay, I'm done being hyper. |

Maybe they have more than one fountain in that style? |

Yeah, see...in Forget Me Lots her balcony over looked all of that. I seriously think it's in the back. I mean, the palace obviously has more than one level. It can be in the back, but she climbed over the side wall. |

I think it was on the side. Wasn't it close to the Marketplace? I mean, she did escape over the wall in her garden to get the marketplace. Chances are, it was close. If it was far, she probably would've been spotted on her way there.
**tries hard to think back to "Forget Me Lots" scene when everybody is in the garden... But fails.** |

I thought Jasmine's fountain was in the back since her balcony over looks it and when Aladdin kisses her goodnight, he flies down near it... |

I've analyzed the Aladdin movie to death, having the insane urge to recreate the palace as closely as Simmishly possible in The Sims 2. While doing this, I noticed a really odd thing about the palace.
Now, bear with me...
-We know that the fountain is in the front yard. We also know that the door leading to the throne room is at the very front of the palace, which faces Agrabah.
During the "marry the shrew" scene, Jafar also stands on a balcony that is BEHIND the Sultan's throne. Logically, it should be facing the back yard - yet you can see him watching Jasmine by the front-yard fountain.
When Aladdin arrives in Agrabah as a prince, the Sultan and Jafar watch the procession from this same balcony - again, while they should be facing the backyard, they are inexplicably looking from the front of the palace and toward the city! |
I always though there was the main entrance in the front and then a balcony on the side. (The one you see when the Sultan is flying on Carpet in the throneroom after the "Prince Ali" number.) And on a round balcony, you can see outside all directions (except for behind you, of course). |

Well, he couldn't remember where his room was at in "Sandswitch", so... |

Actually considering the Sultan's intellect, I'm not so sure even he wouldn't get lost. |

The palace is so big that Aladdin forgets he has a room there. Or he does know and they kicked him out...hmmmm |

Um, they remodeled. Very quickly. |
Lol. Alright.
Or, maybe she has one, but she's never been able to find it. |
Why not? The place is huge. Anybody, beside the Sultan, can lost in there. Why do you think they have a tour guide? |

Two identical throne rooms... right... |
It could happen. I always wondered why Jasmine never had her own throne... |
