Not a photo of a costume but I got this at Dragon*Con. The amazingly talented Chandra Free

Sketched this for me!
She knew who I was talking about right away, said he was one of her favorite characters and she'd been wanting to draw him forever. This is probably my highlight of the con.

isn't it amazing! Very Happy She added Xerxes for free and from memory too! Love it so much!

Sorry to keep spamming with Con pics (this'll be the last one I swear!) but this was too hilarious not to.

Oh wow that's awesome, I used to have all of those tapes! I'm so glad people still remember it Very Happy

That sounds amazing though. My friends went to Tekko this year and I think they only said they saw one Aladdin, but that's great that there were so many at DragonCon!

I think the criteria is "Jessica Rabbit" Laughing

Yep, they're Disney. It's safe to assume everything is Disney until otherwise noted. I still don't remember they own Marvel half the time.

Mischa Collins is hilarious and the sonic screwdrivers bit is making me laugh Laughing

They were both fantastic. Didn't get to talk to them much.

I've never seen so many Aladdins at one con, though. That's surprising.
There were a few. I was expecting a person I know to do a Mozenrath but I didn't see if she did or not. Sad

I love that cosplay is starting to reach out for other lesser known/shown characters. There's not 50,000 versions of Belle running around anymore Laughing. Thanks for the photos!

speaking of which. Here are the ones my husband took. He has a -uh different criteria for picture worthy costumes than I do but he did get at least one Disney character.

Also one of mine I forgot. Muppets are Disney now, right?

The Aladdin presence at the con wasn't just limited to costumes either.
The Hilton had karoke and "A Whole New World" was one of the songs picked. Bonus points since Amy Okunda, Robin Thorsten (The Guild), Colin Ferguson,Jordon Hinson (Eureka) and Mischa Collins (Supernatural) were all there and singing along with the rest of us. It was fantastic, we had a crowd of Dr. Who cosplayers and Jedi waving along their sonic screwdrivers and lightsabers with the song. Seriously awesome.

Hi everyone!
I just got back from four awesome days at Dragon*con in Atlanta.
There were so many amazing costumes but I know everyone here would like to see the Aladdin ones. I also took several pictures of some fantastic Disney costumes as well as well as one special surprise that I will post later.
Hope you all enjoy.

These two were fantastic

These two as well, He was the only Jafar I saw. He said the snake staff had been gold painted with nail polish eyes.

She was my favorite Jasmine, and that's me on the right there in one of my Mandalorian armor sets.

Very sweet Aladdin. His mother made his pants for him out of a bed sheet.

My last straight Aladdin one. I'd never have figured our boy as an Imperial Sympathizer.
and now misc. Disney.

Broadway version of Beauty and the Beast. They were so hilarious, especially Cogsworth. We were all walking with them and the crowd came to a halt and he yelled out "Sorry for Clock-Blocking everyone!"

Blathering-blatherskite! How cool is this!

This lady was like 6' tall, and beautiful.

My favorite Mother Gothel

Blinged out Disney Princesses. They were so pretty.

A-mazing Megera. She even did the hair. she said her head was killing her.

Narnia is technically Disney.

The Huntsman from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. He had his wife as Snow White but I didn't get a decent shot of her.

Shego and Dr. Drakken

Two of my favorites from the entire con. They were fantastically in character the whole time. They saw my bounty hunter costume and tried to hire me to "take out" Cinderella.

Best Jessica Rabbit I'd ever seen. She actually got the color right and boned the dress enough to keep it strapless.
That's it for the Disney. I have tons more costumes though. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll link you to my facebook or photobucket. Cheers!
