So I'm guessing it's a modern day, live-action version of Aladdin that borrows some stuff from the Disney version (like that magic carpet, for example. There are none in the original tale). It looks like a fun film, though. I just about died laughing at Aladdin dancing. I see they also borrowed Disney!Aladdin's dorkiness and amplified it to the point of nerdiness
Apparently the release date is August 14th in India according to imdb.com, so we'll see.
