I am watching it now, and it's a very modernized version of the story. No Tigers, parrots nor any monkeys are in this. Jafar's name is Abenazir, Aladdin's mom's name is Jeannie Bender, and his late father's name is Fender Bender. There's also Weenee and Beans, who are basically Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. There is also The Librarian and Sherazade, who are the same actress. The Sultan and Jasmine are also in this play.
Aladdin, in this version, is portrayed as a skateboarder rather than a thief, and he lives with his mom. |

I've seen pictures of Bret Hart as the genie for a while. I've wondered if I'd ever see that for real.
