No way, I made the thread as soon as AOL gave the news. You mean you beat me to it? Darn you!

I think it's just cause he's so sweet and raunchily (that is so not a word) hysterical everyone is upset by this.
Well at least he didn't say that he was bigger than him. He lowered himself by the man.
I think it's funny.

Is so. It's a perfectly acceptable English word modified with a perfectly acceptable English suffix. So there.

It's kinda funny. Some celebrities try to deny what they say in the tabloids and the infamy that goes with it and it just makes the problem worse. Glad to see Gilbert taking it well.

Actually...
I just got this tonight from him
Dear Boys and Girls who signed up for my fan club,
Usually, when I have something to say, I put it on my Blog on my website or on MySpace. Of course, if you’ve bothered to read those, it doesn’t matter if I actually had something to say or not. But, I figured since you signed up for my fan site, you deserve to get my stupid ramblings ahead of everyone else, so here you go.
A few weeks ago, the Boston Phoenix newspaper picked me as the #1 Unsexiest Man in the World. I had no idea that the article would snowball the way it has.
I’ve received responses from all over the world including England, Hong Kong, Korea, India, Canada and Australia. It made the home page on AOL, MSNBC, Fox News and others. I was on Fox and Friends this morning, Canadian’s version of CNN this evening and I’m doing VH1’s Best Week Ever tomorrow. I heard that Regis and Kelly mentioned it and Kelly Ripa defended my sexiness. This is what I’ve heard. If she didn’t defend it, please don’t tell me, as the fantasy is too great. Paula Zahn felt the story was so important that the anti-Christ born out of the bonding of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes (or as the press calls them ‘TomKat’), received a distant second to my story which was NUMBER ONE. Take that L. Ron Hubbard!
The emails I’ve been receiving have been quite interesting. I’ve had more than a number of ladies out there saying “Don’t listen to that article. We find you sexy.” Those responses, I’ve been reading and reading a few million times. And, when I stop writing this message, you know for damn sure I will be looking at those again. Also, the article has seemed to strike a nerve with guys who feel that they are losers. They’ve been coming to my defense. Now, I’m not trying to sound like I’m the new Jesus Christ. Number one, he was much funnier than me. And, when I try and grow a beard, it always comes out kind of scraggly in parts.
For you old movie fans, I think I can sum up the responses I’ve received by quoting James Gleason in the movie Meet John Doe, “There you are, Norton! The people! Try and lick that!”
Thanks,
Gilbert Gottfried
PS - If you haven't ordered my DVD or CD "Gilbert Gottfried Dirty Jokes" on
www.GilbertGottfried.com,
what the hell are you waiting for?!??!?!?!?

I'm kind of amused to see all of this outrage; I'm sure Gilbert's happy to get the publicity.

I know right. I mean who made that official to ever be such a list? Did they do it based on vote to vote population or some person to decide who is attractive or not.
