I considered doing something like that but with RoJ instead of Aladdin. Can't you just imagine the scene where Iago bursts in on the banquet to the tune of the part that begins "I see a little silhouetto of a man"?
Iago: (whispers) I'm just a poor boy, nobody loves me
Aladdin: He's just a poor boy from a poor family!
and then later:
Rasoul: Bismillah! No!
Sultan: We will not let him go
Aladdin: Let him go!
...then again maybe it's just me. |
ROTFL! I thought that Aladdin would be saying the poor boy part. But then again everytime I hear that song automatically I think of Wayne's World. |
And I start head-banging everytime after the "Beelezbul has put a devil aside for meeeeeee, for meeeee, for MEEEEEEEEEEE!" |
PARTY ON WAYNE! |

I didn't realize how many times people just grab and yank Aladdin around until this video |

SCUMM Bar has a lot of MP3 downloads. One of these is a demo tape of Armato doing various voices. It's pretty funny - and showcases his versatility.
You can find it on this page. Look under "Curse of Monkey Island." |

Went to the Monkey Island website, listened to the trailer. Dominic's character kind of reminds me of Matthew Broderick. If he can deepen his voice and maybe sound angrier, I can see what you mean. |
Yes, yes he does sound like Broderick. I noticed that when I was playing the game. |

Corin Nemec might be good, but I personally think Dominic Armato's got potential.
How do you get these incredibly amazingly awesome clips to load? Does it just take a while, or what? (Dial-up internet sucks sometimes.) |
Download to watch them ? or Download to keep them in your archives? or to put them in your page? To watch, there's no downlaoding at all, you just have to pause it till it loads completely then you press play. It takes alot of patience if you have dial up. |

I think David Gallaghar should be my future voice actor if I ever appear in any media, although I would steal the entire media which I appear in. *evil smirk* |
Which calls to mind... why don't you just do your own voicework, eh? [/quote]
Of course I will, babe |

Yes, he sounds like Matthew Brodrick sometimes, too. He sort of variates between people a lot; it usually depends on whatever he's saying at the time.

Oh... there's... a... monkey in my pocket
He belongs to Aladdin
His stare is blank and glassy
'Cause he found my stock of gin
Yeah, it did seem a little odd, but it was danged hilarious to hear him say it. (Then later, when he puts the serrated knife down his pants... that's pretty good, too.) |
