Oh Lord, Brother Bear is my LEAST favorite movie. If Pocahontas' New Age shmaltz filled a small jar, (which I can handle,) Brother Bear's filled an oil jug, (which I can't,) UUUUUUUUGH. |

I really liked Brother Bear. It was a surprise hit for me. That was the one in production while I was on my College Program, so I remember being filled in on the details by friends in the Studios as it progressed. I kept smacking my head on a wall saying it would be a cheesy tree-hugger film (and that's coming from me, who is very pro-environment). I was so pleasantly surprised by it! I loved the music, and the art was amazing - those backgrounds in particular were gorgeous! It reminded me of home. A lot. And I thought the story played out well - I started crying when Kenai confessed. The whole message of the film (looking through the eyes of another person/creature) is something that I really love, too, because I don't feel like it's something that's stressed enough in today's world.
As for the sequel... well, some turn out good, and some turn out horrible. I'll reserve judgement on this one til I see it, but it has the potential to be cool if done well. |

I`m actually glad Treasure planet is getting a sequel. I would like to see Jim Hawkins become a captain of his own ship. The doppler children will make things fun. Of course , it will not be equal with the first, but Atlantis had a sequel. The first Atlantis film wasn`t even that good. Treasure planet is a much better movie. |

Meh, I'll probably see it. The sequels seem to be getting better.
At least, the Lilo sequels are doing very, very, very well.
(I'm on a random Lilo kick today, so just...ignore me). |

A sequel to Brother Bear? I can't imagine. The movie didn't do THAT well. (Woulda been better, in my opinion, if they'd kept the anachronistic comments out of it.) |

I think this actually sounds interesting. I doubt it will be as interesting as it sounds. |
Wait...how can you think it sounds interesting but you also think it's not as interesting as it sounds? |

I heard rumors on a Brother bear forum, that there is going to be a sequel coming out in 2006. The story centers aroung Kenai`s memories about his past life. He has many adventures with the little cub named Koda. A girl from Kenai`s childhood joins the bears on their journey. I think this actually sounds interesting. I think there is going to be something between Kenai and this girl. He may have to choose between staying with koda or being with his childhood friend. |
