Yeah... it comes back, and not necessarily with the life and vitality it had before... so it just shambles around in an undead state, scaring the pants off of some people and making others hold their noses in disgust. But really, sometimes you just can't and shouldn't mess with a good thing. If anything, the only thing I'd like to see done would be Return of Jafar and King of Theives completely redrawn to match the quality and style of the first movie. Oh... and the cartoon series released to DVD. I've never seen it, except for one episode involving Sadira. (I believe it was titled "Witch Way Did She Go." The one where Iago's body is turned into an hourglass.)
D'oh! Come to think of it, I think I thought of Jumanji at the time, but I inexplicably forgot about the scene later.
Lol. Don't feel bad... still when I watch Aladdin I sometimes have no idea why my parents laugh at his personas... mainly because I don't know who they are.

Ah, I think I'm missing something... when did he do something from Jumanji in an Aladdin movie?
Personally, I like King of Thieves pretty well. I was very, VERY impressed with the hand-drawn panoramic shots. Those would usually be done with CGI, but the animators had the gumption to do it by hand. Nice.
And I enjoyed John Rhys-Davies as Cassim very, very much.

And he also does a Mrs. Doubtfire.

Yeah, I guess Disney vetoed that one figure salute pose.
Pity... I think it would have outsold the Tinkerbelle stuff.

Now you see, my business side has been long over shadowed by my rampid Cassim/Sa'luk fangirlism.
Lmao, I get it. Well, I'm still thinking clearly when it comes to that... but yeah, Sa'luk shoulda got more credit seeing how they put him up against a momunental villain in the creds dep.
At least Sa'luk doesn't have a bird coming up with all the good villainish ideas.

It's not like I'm arguing that Genie should have been kept out of the movie...but the "Starring Robin Williams" credit is just absurd.
You sure as hell better not be arguing he should have been
But wasn't that credit part of the deal to get him on this project?

True... you're right.
On my moral side, I agree with you... Robin Williams didn't do enough to deserve a starring role.
On my business side, however, I have to say he was the largest selling point, and that's why he was made in a starring role. It was the best way to go.

Oh, I know why he's there.
He just shouldn't be.
He does maybe three things of value in KOT (in the long run). Definetly not a starring role.
True, but he was still a big star. Plus he does make the movie funny... and I like how he used some of his previous roles I.E. JUMANGI into it also.
What do you think the main selling point should have been?
It's not like he's the only thing that's funny in the movie. It's not like I'm arguing that Genie should have been kept out of the movie...but the "Starring Robin Williams" credit is just absurd.
And I have no problem with the summary of the movie on the back of the box...just drop the Robin credit and don't act as if he's some major character in the movie when he isn't. It's Aladdin and Cassim's film.
