I'll too refrain from using Aladdin characters. It's almost redundant, lol. Romantic- Esmerelda and Phoebus have great chemistry. One of my all time favorite Disney scenes is when they are "talking" in the cathedral when she is running away-Love it, love it, love it! And Mulan and Shang-even though that wasn't exactly developed in the first movie, but they have potential! Meg and Herc- A badass with a dork-that's completely balanced, lol. For some reason, I think of the Waterboy when I think of them. Odd, but so is everything else that comes from my mind. Friendships- Lumiere and Cogsworth, Baloo and Bagherra, Sebastian and King Triton, and Pacha and Kuzco are all my favorite "friendships."
Well, Aladdin and Jasmine, of course. And, I was going to say Aurora and Prince Phillip, but they got beat out by Belle & the Beast.
At the first, the two fought (alittle) but eventually they get closer. I love romances like that.
And Aladdin and Jasmine got to know each other, and you get to see the ups and downs of their relationships. But that's in another section of this site

My favorites have always been, are, and will be Ariel and Eric. Yes I like Prince Eric. I wrote stories about them when I was 8 and 9. I'm not ashamed of being Ariel and Eric fans. I'm proud of it!
They are my favorite too, but why would you be ashamed of it?
I love them, because she gave up her whole life, and entire world for him. It's just so romantic. Plus, I think Eric, is really funny and charming. And so is Ariel, so they are just natural together!

Am I the only one who thinks Anastasia and Dimitri look like Jack and Rose from Titanic?
You're right - hadn't thought of that before.
Ditto. I didn't really give much thought until then.
Anyway, Leo is blond while Dimitri is a brunette. That's probably while I didn't see it.

Oh, it's ok. No need to apologize
. A lot of people think they are and that Anastasia is a Disney movie.
But they ARE a cute couple, though

Everyone forgets them but Dimitri and Anastasia. I love there relationship where they can't go a minute without arguing. They do become a couple at the end of the movie at least.
...that's because they're not Disney
They're not? Wow, I always thought they were...
My bad.

I know, but still, it's pretty hilarious, to imagine Saluk saying something like, 'dinner, invite her to dinner'
The real kicker would be "YOU MUST CONTROL YOUR TEMPER!" Sa'luk telling someone else to control their temper...priceless

With Pocahontas II I feel that they ruined the magic of the first. Ditto for The Lion King 1 1/2 (or 3, in the UK).
See, I know a lot of the Lion King fans were mad they even considered making a spoof because they said they ruined all the seriousness, but I think for them to have pulled that off to begin with is awesome! Doing a good spoof is not easy and I think they did quite well. I like 1 1/2 better than the original, but then again I am a sucker for comedy.

But this was based on a true story. They couldn't ignore what really happened just so that she could have Smith. Because they took liberties with the first one doesn't mean you can say screw everything since we already haven't followed history. If there was a movie about me, I wouldn't want them acting like I ultimately ended up with a former boyfriend instead of the guy I ultimately end up with.
